]The Space Academy at Renaissance sponsors two Coding Clubs open to all Renaissance Academy students in grade 4-8. Mr. Williamson is the club's volunteer leader. He is assisted by two outstanding high school student coders. Our high school coding Gurus are paid so there is a small club fee to cover their wages and replacement headphones as needed.
Our Coding Club uses the GoogleCS curriculum. The students learn SCRATCH, an excellent coding language for young beginners and intermediate coders. Information flyers about the club can be seen below. Visit the GoogleCS website to learn more about the club.
Beginning Level Class
GoogleCS Music and Sound Module, an 8 Week Course.
Ages: 4th grade and up.
Cost: $10.00 for current Space Academy Young Astronauts and Voyager Club members. $20.00 for non-members.

Intermediate Level Class
Prerequisite, You must have taken at least one other SCRATCH class and / or are familiar with SCRATCH.
GoogleCS Sports Module, an 8 Week Course.
Ages: 5th grade and up.
Cost: $10.00 for current Space Academy Young Astronauts and Voyager Club members. $20.00 for non-members.

2. Send an email with a screenshot of your payment receipt to Director@SpaceCampUtah.org. Include in the email your child's name, grade, and club squadron. Remember to tell me which class you're registering for: Beginning or Intermediate.
